How can you get involved?
KAF is dependent on external funding and on contributions of local artists, volunteers and organisations.
Why not get involved and be part of making this vibrant and exciting community event happen?
Every year we are on the look out for new artists to get involved with KAF.
We want to hear your ideas well in advance; if you want to create something for the festival, we could include you in our funding applications, or direct you to funding streams to help you get your ideas off the ground.
Get your ideas for 2020 formulating now!
We generally apply for funding in November each year, and to do this it is essential that we include the proposed program so our funders can see what the forthcoming festival will look like, to help them make their decision.
So even if your idea is in its very early stages, it’s never too early to get in touch!
Do you have a can-do attitude and want to be part of a great team? If you would like to volunteer with KAF, you can benefit from:
- a range of hands on experience in the Arts sector
- meeting new and interesting people
- networking with artists
- learning new or utilising existing skills
- making a valuable contribution to making Kidderminster a more vibrant place to live, work and visit
We greatly appreciate our volunteers and will always provide a reference for hard workers!

Fundraising is hugely important for the growth of KAF, and without funding, it will cease to exist. We receive a small core grant from Kidderminster Town Council each year – however, we need to raise at least six times this amount to deliver the festival.
As you may imagine, this is time consuming and funding options are limited. We hugely appreciate the support we have received, and are looking for ways to make the festival more sustainable, so that it will survive well into the future.
If you are a company, and wish to sponsor us in return for many great benefits.
If you are a smaller organisation or group we can display your logo on our website and future marketing material. Why not get in touch with us and see what the festival can do for you?
Your company may also be able to offer us skills or discounted services which help us raise the funds for the following year’s festival as an ‘in kind’ contribution.
If you don’t have time to help on a practical level, but would like to help us with funding, you can donate any amount online or send a cheque to Wyre Forest District Council.
